Onboard Chargers (OCs) are the brains behind the WiBotic system. Installed on the robot, UAV or other vehicle, the OC converts wireless power back to DC and provides intelligent battery charging and battery monitoring for fleet-wide power optimization.
The OC-251 can also be used for plug-in or contact based charging through the use of the auxiliary DC input – offering a fully programmable option for those who don’t need wireless charging. It delivers 250W and up to 12A to the battery and is fully certified for use in the US, Canada, the EU and many other countries under our FCC and CE approvals. The OC-251 is shipped in a compact sheet metal enclosure with a plastic lid and is normally used with the standard or waterproof versions of the RC-100 receiver antenna (quoted separately). Multiple mounting options and customized mounting kits are available for a range of UAVs and robots.
The OC-251 is typically paired with the TR-302 Transmitter to achieve the full 250W output rating.
